My 31 days of Proverbs. A chapter a day, and one hour everyday blending the words from that chapter of my reading into my prayers.
Day 1: Lord, I surrender myself unto the your knowledge. To know wisdom and instruction to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity. Father correct me as you see fit, clothe me in humility allow for that retched old man to give way to The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. My Strength lies in you father, please imprint upon my heart your words, My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. My son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths. Lord God I praise your name for your promises are true. If you turn at my reproof behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you. Father for you are true, and holy I thank you for choosing me, for many are lost because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and the fill of their own devices, but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.
Father, I thank you for hearing my prayers, for you are good.
