The right choices you make reflect your integrity. Obedience brings the greatest safeguard and security. Blameless living safeguards your life. Every choice for good sets into motion other opportunities for good. These were study notes today from my daily Proverbs. Proverbs 13:9 The life of the Godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. v.10: Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.
Pride- arrogance, conceit, vanity, egotism, self-importance, hubris. Advice- counsel, suggestion, tip, hint, caution, admonish
Lord, Today I find myself seeking a deeper realization of your presence. Lord, In all that I am I desire to be known as a man of great counsel, and a person who lives with spiritual caution. I pray that arrogance and self-importance does not begin to grab ahold of who I am, nor distract me from the path that you have laid out for me.Proverbs 13:16 Wise people think before they act; fools don’t-and even brag about their foolishness. Seems like everywhere you turn people are hurting, and that the world around us is continuing to spiral out of control. The end times appear near, as we have heard it said for as long as I can remember. 1 Corinthians 5:16 I urge you, then, be imitators of me. The person who hates lying does not just feel bad about it; he avoids it like the plague(my Bible commentary so perfectly says). Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. 21: trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous. Here is a principle I am reading about: Whatever God wills to do, if man does not will it, He will not do it. We can not make God do what he does not want to do, but we can hinder Him from doing what He does wish to do. Learning obedience through patience in our surroundings and through our environments. The tests that we run into daily disguise themselves in everyday looking events. The people we encounter. The traffic jams we run into. The drive through employee that cannot subtract thirteen cents from a dollar.
Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues.
Acts 14:47 For the Lord gave us this command when He said, I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.
The teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit; primarily he comes to equip us with a deeper comprehension and understanding of truth, of Gods word. Discernment of reality in the Spiritual realm. To discern something: to understand, to perceive, recognize and to discover. Those same verses and or situations in our life that we continually face, we began seeing in a new way; we have fresh eyes per say on a situation.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Alignment of oneself to God and His perfect will. We lack discernment in regards to others, because we do not allow for God to reveal self-discernment in our own lives. In order to have discernment, we must first be discerning of the current conditions and reality of our own situations. To take stock and inventory of the person in the mirror first is step one. Allow for God’s perfect work to begin in you, and by your light shining forth others will see God in you, therefore they will desire their lives to mimic what God has done in yours.
Romans 8:6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
