Ever have the feeling that the Church is confused? I recently read that eighteen of the top twenty mega Churches have one thing in common, secular music is played at their Churches. These Churches disguise their decisions to play secular music under the umbrella of “attracting the lost people” to the Church and or “making them feel comfortable”. I would have to say on the surface that playing the secular music would be a great business decision. Ultimately increasing attendance and achieving Mega Church status. Jesus never said that he would bless you into a Mega Church though. Jesus never blended in with the world in order to tell them the good news. Lastly, he was not real excited when the church turned into a den of thieves. Flipping over tables of the money changers. I know that could be viewed as a drastic comparison. The real truth is this, that you do not go into the world and blend in still being Christ-like. Light dispels darkness, and if you must hide your light a little to attract darkness. Then which one is actually changing?
The Truth is simple. The Truth always wins out. Jesus Christ the way, the Truth and the light.

Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light everyone in the house.
