Colossians 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

To take something unregard less of where you are taking it from instead of willfully receiving from a cheerful giver is what has inspired the idea of this blog.
Open your eyes! The Holy Spirit will lead you to someone who is hungry and ready to learn!
Don’t throw holy things to the dogs! I am easily offended by this statement which makes me believe that somewhere down inside I have struggled with being a taker and/or like a wild dog just looking to take from good hearted people. It is strange that the feeling of knowing the “old self” is full of pride regarding something that Jesus calls out in scripture. The amazing thing is that dying to that pride is now an easy task, I would even venture to say I enjoy putting those prideful issues on blast and watching them be refined through the fire of daily trials.

Matthew 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

What I am currently growing through is learning how much emotional energy to apply to each situation. My biggest challenge currently is leaning on my own strength and not knowing how to trust that God has so beautifully orchestrated each and every event in my life to maximize my growth and potential within my spirit. I question the direction of my efforts when certain situations require skill sets and/or spiritual tools that I do not yet posses. I have come to realize that discernment of what is God’s grace, and what is God’s will, situation by situation has become key to survival. One situation is a test to improve discernment on whether to freely give or to properly protect that which Christ has done in my life. As Christ always does; he spoke to me so clearly in one of my readings today. This is what I read: “These are people who refuse to submit to anyone’s authority. They roam about like nomads, wandering from one church to the next, using and abusing one pastor after another. Out of control and beyond the reach of anyone’s authority, these people are constantly trying to get in places where they shouldn’t be allowed.”

How would you explain to someone the presence of God or the Mind of Christ to someone who doesn’t know God? Is this something that you can carnally comprehend? Not without an encounter with God.
Lord, I pray that you give whoever reads this blog and myself the ability to have eyes to see and ears to hear what the spirit says to the churches. That we in all our imperfectness as humans would not cease the pursuit of your holiness and righteousness. For your name is above all names Lord. – Amen

Final thought: The enemy is constantly sharpening his sword to have deadlier tools to take out God’s people with. What preparation are you putting into sharpening your spiritual tools in order to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. God’s thoughts come through the realization of his word, his word is living and breathing outside the realm which we see as humans. God’s thoughts will perfectly mesh with your thoughts with these three simple spiritual truths. Make a constant effort to be in your word, deep intercessory prayer, and asking Him to remove all your sins daily.
