Father as you know my heart, the content of who I really am inside. The man who is sometimes hard to properly present to the world, due to my common issue of pride in my life. Let this be where that old man is nailed to the cross and I am lifted into the spiritual realm of the glory of your truth.
– Amen (So-Be-It)
A-men- uttered at the end of a prayer or hymn, meaning ‘so be it.’
Father, Most days I find myself wondering if what I am doing is actually making a difference, but then I am convicted on that thought in itself that is pride. Teach me Lord to walk in your acceptance and delight in the fact that my identity is found in you and not in the approval of man. That I am a child of the most high. You Lord are my shepherd. I will follow you. – Amen
Strong’s Concordance states the word as “verily, truly, amen, or so be it.” Saying “amen” at the end of a prayer states our affirmation that what was just said is true and that we are in agreement with the prayer.
Lord, I ask that you reveal the essence of your Love to me as you have created it. This kind of love that is never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud. Lord reveal in me the man that you have created me to be. The Man that my children deserve. Father, that all that I am is all that you have created me to be. God you are my rock, my rock that I fall upon I lean on you Lord. I lean upon your grace and mercy to define me as your child I am perfect and complete lacking nothing. I surrender all that I ever could become on my own for all that you have created me to be in you. I am a willing slave unto righteousness. Lord I am completely yours to mold and shape as you see fit. Create in me a worthy vessel to live out the calling of being your son. I am secure in my identity in you Christ, that as yours I no longer have to be worried about that which is mine. For what is yours is mine and what is mine is yours. For the mind of Christ means that I have access to the Father and the thoughts which are the Fathers. Praise your name, for your name above all names is the name I praise. In the name of our savior Jesus Christ – Amen
Matthew 10:20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
