We are all built with this “Passion for Purpose” inside of us. We all long to be of large-scale significance, not because of ourselves but in spite of ourselves, for the knowing of something greater than ourselves. Somewhere between here and there we have lost or let go willingly of what we thought was our impact moment. We sometimes get caught in the trap that we may have missed what God had called us for. When all along God is reminding us that all things work together for good for those who love him. Look at the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were distracted from how God had desired for his perfect people to live. Yet, somewhere standing back from that story alone the entirety of the Gospel is painted. The beautiful collage of trials, and tribulations, man’s struggles and victories. The story of Jesus Christ, the living true breathing God of Heaven and Earth, is revealed through these imperfect people. Us the imperfect, pursuing the perfection of Him. We are expected to journey through this wilderness, this period of time that we seem all alone, looking for that root of purpose and passion, that flint to reignite our fire. Realizing that fire never burned out, that you have been placed through the fire in a process of getting rid of the impurities that this world borne you into. You have been through the fire, therefore (now) is your time to reveal that all-consuming fire. That fire has been what the perfect will of God has been protecting you from yourself until now. Oh, that He loves us so much that He knows exactly the distance you must travel before this season can change. The ability to know what is next, then the ability to be joyful for what currently is. You must master the latter before you can rejoice in the former. God is good, God is love. God be with us for today I place myself in your loving arms Lord; guide and protect those that I love for I know that the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. You are an encompassing, all knowing, Alpha and Omega; my Father who is in Heaven you are the Breath of Life, the Great I Am that I Am. Arise, arise mighty men, for the journey has just begun. Our focus need be less the destination and more of the process of pursuing perfection, perfection in a perfect and complete God that lacks nothing, and all that is His is ours to have.
Your life, your story has always been uniquely guided and protected with the presence of the great I am. Be joyful for this too shall pass.
