The reality of our faith has nothing to do with how feel, it’s about what we know.
And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are calling according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
The hardest part of our journey of faith is believing that even in times of trials, times of distress and times of bitter disappointment that God is amidst our situations, allowing them to work towards fulfilling His purpose, not our purpose. God’s purpose always incorporates the big picture. So wrapping our heads around the reason for situations we go through may seem impossible and may cause us to feel that God’s presence is void, but we have to stand on what we know.
True faith is always seeking to understand.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him (James 1:5)
