Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6: In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Decisions- A conclusion or resolution reached after consideration. The action or process of deciding something or resolving a question.

One of my foundational goals in my classes when I teach is that “I teach my guys to think; not teach them my thoughts”. I aways focus on this idea of making lasting impressions upon their brains. So, when they are forced to pull from deep within themselves, for something of substance, what comes out is the word of God. Placing the Word perfectly woven into them with the chief aim of solid roots upon a firm foundation of truth. I came across this statement recently: The Bible puts the head in the prominent position, not the central position. The head is the sum total of the heart. The head is the outward expression of the heart. As a tree is the outward expression of the root.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments.

Questions: How do smart and otherwise moral people begin making stupid decisions? Why do stupid people stay stupid? Why does a dog eats his own vomit? Why do some people change? Why do some people never stay the same? Why do some people become what they hate? Why do we hate what we have become but never change? Why are our problems always blamed on someone else rather than ourself? How did we get so far from the truth when the truth has never been far away? How do you know if you are right or wrong? Have you been wronged so now you feel you are right? Question these questions I am perplexed with these questions. Stupidly smart.

Proverbs 26:11 Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly.
